Category Winners will receive the silver Emily pin, a certificate
suitable for framing, and will be eligible for the $100 Best of the

March 10, 2018, Emily Awards Luncheon and All-Day Workshop, featuring
multi-published author Sharon Mignerey who will present a 2-part
workshop: Scene Craft and Characters Need M&Ms.

A national writers’ organization, Women Writing the West, is
coming to Arizona for its 23rd annual conference. Loew’s Ventana
Canyon Resort in Tucson will be the location, October 26 through 28.

Women Writing the West is open to all writers and affiliated
professionals, regardless of their location, who write and promote
writing about the West with emphasis on the experiences of western
women and girls. The conference speakers and workshops would benefit
all, regardless of genre or level of ability. You do not have to be a
member to attend the conference.
